त॑ यमौ पृष्ठतो<न्चैतां रक्षन्तौ पुरुषर्षभौ । द्रोणायाभिमुखं यान्तं दीप्यमानमिवानलम्
tau yamau pṛṣṭhato 'nv etāṃ rakṣantau puruṣarṣabhau | droṇāyābhimukhaṃ yāntaṃ dīpyamānam ivānalam ||
સંજય બોલ્યા—પ્રજ્વલિત અગ્નિ સમાન તેજસ્વી ધૃષ્ટદ્યુમ્ન દ્રોણાચાર્યની સામે આગળ વધતો જોઈ, પુરુષશ્રેષ્ઠ યમજ નકુલ અને સહદેવ પાછળ પાછળ ચાલતા તેની રક્ષા કરવા લાગ્યા.
