महार्थ लघुसंयुक्त कर्तुमहसि मानद । तस्य मे सर्वकार्येषु कार्यमेतन््मतं महत्
mahārtha-laghusaṃyukta kartuṃ arhasi mānada | tasya me sarvakāryeṣu kāryam etan mataṃ mahat ||
માનદ! મહાન અર્થને સંક્ષિપ્તતાથી જોડીને તું તેને ગોઠવ. મારા માટે સર્વ કાર્યોમાં આ જ સર્વથી ભારે અને આવશ્યક કાર્ય છે—આ મારો દૃઢ મત છે.
युधिष्ठिर उवाच
