अभिमन्यु–अलम्बुसयुद्धम् / The Duel of Abhimanyu and Alambusa

स गाढविद्धो व्यथितो रथोपस्थ उपाविशत्‌ । मोहितं वीक्ष्य राजानं नीलम भ्रचयोपमम्‌

sa gāḍhaviddho vyathito rathopastha upāviśat | mohitaṃ vīkṣya rājānaṃ nīlam bhracayopamam ||

ઘેરા ઘાવથી વિદ્ધ થઈ પીડાથી વ્યથિત તે રથના આસન પર બેસી પડ્યો. રાજાને મોહગ્રસ્ત જોઈ—જેનો વર્ણ નિલા વાદળોના સમૂહ જેવો શ્યામ થઈ ગયો હતો—સંજયે યુદ્ધના કોલાહલમાં તે ઘાવની ઘાતક તીવ્રતા અને તે ક્ષણનું ધર્મભાર સમજ્યું.
