प्रगृह्य विपुलं चाप॑ं ज्ञातिभि: परिवारित: । शूलमुद्गरहस्तैश्न नानाप्रहरणैरपि,उसके जाति-बन्धु हाथोंमें शूल, मुद्गर आदि नाना प्रकारके अस्त्र-शस्त्र लेकर उसे सब ओरसे घेरे हुए थे और उसने एक विशाल धनुष ले रखा था

Transliteration

pragṛhya vipulaṃ cāpaṃ jñātibhiḥ parivāritaḥ | śūlamudgarahastaiś ca nānāpraharaṇair api ||

Translation

સંજય બોલ્યો—તેના જાતિબંધુઓ શૂલ, મુદ્‌ગર વગેરે નાનાપ્રકારના શસ્ત્રો હાથમાં લઈને તેને ચારે તરફથી ઘેરીને ઊભા હતા; અને તે પોતે એક વિશાળ ધનુષ ધારણ કરીને ઊભો રહ્યો હતો.
