भीष्मभीमसमागमः — Bhīṣma–Bhīma Strategic Engagement and Counsel to the King
ते हन्यमाना: पार्थन भीष्म शान्तनवं ययु: । अगाधे मज्जमानानां भीष्म: पोतो5भवत् तदा
te hanyamānāḥ pārthān bhīṣmaśāntanavaṁ yayuḥ | agādhe majjamānānāṁ bhīṣmaḥ poto 'bhavat tadā ||
પાર્થોના પ્રહારો સહન કરતાં કરતાં તે બધા યોદ્ધાઓ શાંતનુનંદન ભીષ્મ તરફ વળ્યા. તે સમયે યુદ્ધરૂપ અગાધ સાગરમાં ડૂબતા સૈનિકો માટે ભીષ્મ નાવ સમાન—તાત્કાલિક આશ્રય અને પાર ઉતારનાર બન્યા.
