भीष्म-युधिष्ठिर-संमर्दः

Bhīṣma’s Pressure on Yudhiṣṭhira; Śikhaṇḍī’s Approach; Evening Withdrawal

अपन करा बछ। रस एकोनाशीतितमो< ध्याय: भीमसेनके द्वारा दुर्योधनकी पराजय, अभिमन्यु और द्रौपदीपुत्रोंका धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंके साथ युद्ध तथा छठे दिनके युद्धकी समाप्ति संजय उवाच ततो दुर्योधनो राजा लोहितायति भास्करे । संग्रामरभसो भीम॑ हन्तुकामो5भ्यधावत,संजय कहते हैं--महाराज! तदनन्तर जब सूर्यदेवपर संध्याकी लाली छाने लगी, उस समय संग्रामके लिये उत्साह रखनेवाले राजा दुर्योधनने भीमसेनको मार डालनेकी इच्छासे उनपर धावा किया

sañjaya uvāca | tato duryodhano rājā lohitāyati bhāskare | saṅgrāmarabhaso bhīmaṃ hantukāmo 'bhyadhāvat ||

સંજય બોલ્યા—મહારાજ! ત્યારબાદ જ્યારે સૂર્ય સંધ્યાની લાલિમાથી રક્તિમ થવા લાગ્યો, ત્યારે યુદ્ધોત્સાહથી ઉન્મત્ત રાજા દુર્યોધન ભીમસેનને મારવાની ઇચ્છાથી તેના પર ધસી આવ્યો।
