ईदृशो5पि बलौघस्तु संयुक्त: शस्त्रसम्पदा । वध्यते यत्र संग्रामे किमन्यद् भागधेयत:
īdṛśo 'pi balaughas tu saṁyuktaḥ śastra-sampadā | vadhyate yatra saṅgrāme kim anyad bhāgadhayataḥ ||
સંજયે કહ્યું— આવો વિશાળ સૈન્યસમૂહ શસ્ત્ર-સંપત્તિથી યુક્ત હોવા છતાં જ્યાં યુદ્ધમાં નાશ પામે છે, ત્યાં ભાગ્ય સિવાય બીજું કારણ શું હોઈ શકે?
