भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ७२: सैन्यगुणवर्णनम्, व्यूहरक्षा, दैव-पुरुषकारचिन्ता
अभ्यधावन्त संक्रुद्धा: परस्परजिगीषव: । ते सर्वे सहिता युद्धे समालोक्य परस्परम्
sañjaya uvāca | abhyadhāvanta saṅkruddhāḥ parasparajigīṣavaḥ | te sarve sahitā yuddhe samālokya parasparam |
સંજય બોલ્યો—અતિ ક્રોધથી પ્રજ્વલિત અને પરસ્પર જીતવાની ઇચ્છાથી પ્રેરિત થઈ તેઓ સૌ ધસી આવ્યા. યુદ્ધમાં એકત્રિત થઈ તેમણે સામસામે એકબીજાને જોયા અને પરસ્પર પ્રહાર કરવા દૃઢ નિશ્ચય કર્યો.
