भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
विश्वावसुर्विश्वमूर्ति वि श्लेशो विष्वक्सेनो विश्वकर्मा वशी च । विश्वेश्वरो वासुदेवो$सि तस्माद् योगात्मान दैवतं त्वामुपैमि
bhīṣma uvāca |
viśvāvasur viśvamūrtir viśleṣo viṣvakseno viśvakarmā vaśī ca |
viśveśvaro vāsudevo 'si tasmād yogātman daivataṁ tvām upaimi prabho ||
પ્રભો! તમે સર્વવ્યાપી, વિશ્વસ્વરૂપ અને વિશ્વના સ્વામી છો. વિશ્વમાં સર્વત્ર તમારી સેના છે; આ વિશ્વ તમારું જ કાર્ય છે; તમે સર્વને વશમાં રાખનાર છો. તેથી તમને વિશ્વેશ્વર અને વાસુદેવ કહે છે. યોગાત્મા દેવતા! હું તમારી શરણમાં આવ્યો છું.
