भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
तस्य पापस्य सततं क्रियमाणस्य कर्मण: । साम्प्रतं सुमहद् घोरं फल प्राप्तं जनेश्वर,जनेश्वर! निरन्तर किये जानेवाले उसी पाप-कर्मका इस समय यह अत्यन्त भयंकर फल प्राप्त हुआ है
sañjaya uvāca |
tasya pāpasya satataṃ kriyamāṇasya karmaṇaḥ |
sāmprataṃ sumahad ghoraṃ phalaṃ prāptaṃ janeśvara ||
સંજય બોલ્યો— હે જનેશ્વર! સતત કરવામાં આવેલા તે પાપકર્મનું આ સમયે અત્યંત મહાન અને ભયંકર ફળ પ્રાપ્ત થયું છે.
