तद् गोकुलमिवोदशभ्रान्तमुद्भ्रान्तरथयूथपम्
tad gokulam ivodaśa-bhrāntam ud-bhrānta-ratha-yūthapam | uvāca pārtha bībhatsuṁ nigṛhya ratham uttamam ||
સંજય બોલ્યો—તે સમયે પાંડુનંદન યુધિષ્ઠિરની તે સેના ગોકુલના ગાયોના ઝુંડની જેમ વ્યાકુળ બની ઇधर-ઉधर ભટકતી, આર્તસ્વરે હાહાકાર કરતી દેખાઈ. ઘણા રથયૂથપતિ પણ શું કરવું તે ન સમજાઈ ભટકતા હતા. પોતાની જ સેના માં આવી ભગદડ જોઈ યદુકુલનંદન ભગવાન શ્રીકૃષ્ણે પોતાના ઉત્તમ રથને કાબૂમાં રાખી અટકાવ્યો અને કુંતીપુત્ર અર્જુન—બીભત્સુ—ને કહ્યું।
