ततो दिश: सो<नुदिशकश्न पार्थ: शरै: सुधारै: समरे वितत्य । गाण्डीवशब्देन मनांसि तेषां किरीटमाली व्यथयाञज्चकार
tato diśaḥ so’nudiśaś ca pārthaḥ śaraiḥ sudhāraiḥ samare vitatya | gāṇḍīvaśabdena manāṃsi teṣāṃ kirīṭamālī vyathayāṃ cakāra ||
ત્યાર પછી પાર્થ અર્જુને તીક્ષ્ણ ધારવાળા બાણોથી યુદ્ધભૂમિમાં સર્વ દિશાઓ અને ઉપદિશાઓ વ્યાપી દીધી; અને ગાંડિવની ઘનઘોર ટંકારથી કિરીટધારીએ શત્રુઓના મનમાં ભારે વ્યથા ઉત્પન્ન કરી.
