भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
पाण्डवा हि ततो राजन श्रुत्वा तं निनदं महत् । दध्मु: शड्खांश्न भेरीश्व मुरजांश्वाप्पनादयन्
pāṇḍavā hi tato rājan śrutvā taṃ ninadaṃ mahat | dadhmuḥ śaṅkhāṃś ca bherīś ca murajāṃś cāpy apānādayan ||
રાજન! તે મહાન નાદ સાંભળીને પાંડવો પણ શંખ ફૂંકવા લાગ્યા અને ભેરી તથા મૃદંગ/મુરજ વગાડી ગર્જના ઊભી કરી.
