धृष्टय्युम्न॑ तु संयुक्त द्रौणिना वीक्ष्य भारत । सौभद्रो5भ्यपतत् तूर्ण विकिरन् निशितान् शरान्,भरतनन्दन! धृष्टद्युम्नको अश्वत्थामाके साथ भिड़ा हुआ देख सुभद्रानन्दन अभिमन्यु भी पैने बाण बिखेरता हुआ तुरंत वहाँ आ पहुँचा
dhṛṣṭadyumnaṁ tu saṁyuktaṁ drauṇinā vīkṣya bhārata | saubhadro ’bhyapatat tūrṇaṁ vikirann niśitān śarān bharatanandana ||
હે ભારત! ધૃષ્ટદ્યુમ્નને દ્રૌણિ સાથે યુદ્ધમાં જોડાયેલો જોઈ સुभદ્રાનંદન અભિમન્યુ તીક્ષ્ણ બાણો વિખેરતો તુરંત ત્યાં ધસી આવ્યો।
