नासीत् तत्र पुमान् कश्चित् तव सैन्यस्य भारत । योअर्जुनं समरे शूरं प्रत्युद्यायात् कथंचन,भारत! उस समय आपकी सेनामें कोई भी ऐसा पुरुष नहीं था, जो समरमें शूरवीर अर्जुनका सामना करनेके लिये किसी प्रकार आगे बढ़ सके
nāsīt tatra pumān kaścit tava sainyasya bhārata | yo 'rjunaṁ samare śūraṁ pratyudyāyāt kathaṁcana ||
સંજય બોલ્યો—હે ભારત! તે સમયે તારી સેનામાં એવો એક પણ પુરુષ ન હતો કે જે કોઈ રીતે સમરમાં શૂર અર્જુનનો સામનો કરવા આગળ વધે।
