सर्वे: कलिड्लैरासन्न: संनिवृत्तेषु चेदिषु,चेदिदेशीय सैनिकोंके पलायन कर जानेपर समस्त कलिंग भीमसेनके निकट जा पहुँचे; तो भी महाबली पाण्डुनन्दन भीमसेन अपने बाहुबलका भरोसा करके पीछे नहीं हटे और न रथकी बैठकसे तनिक भी विचलित हुए

Transliteration

sarve kaliṅgair āsannaḥ saṃnivṛtteṣu cedīṣu | cedideśīya-sainikānāṃ palāyanaṃ gate samastāḥ kaliṅgā bhīmasenasya nikaṭaṃ jagmuḥ; tathāpi mahābalī pāṇḍunandanaḥ bhīmasenaḥ svabāhubalaṃ niśritya na nivavṛte, na ca rathopasthānāt kiñcid api vicacāla |

Translation

સંજય બોલ્યો—ચેદિ સૈનિકો પલાયન કરી ગયા પછી બધા કલિંગો ભીમસેનની નજીક આવી પહોંચ્યા. છતાં મહાબળી પાંડુનંદન ભીમસેન પોતાના બાહુબળ પર ભરોસો રાખીને ન પાછા હટ્યા, ન રથની બેઠક પરથી જરાય ડગમગ્યા.
