अध्याय ५५ — भीष्मस्य प्रचण्डविक्रमः, अर्जुनप्रत्युत्तरं, कृष्णस्य चक्रोद्यतिः
Chapter 55: Bhīṣma’s onslaught, Arjuna’s counter, and Kṛṣṇa’s raised discus
ततः श्वेतैर्हयैर्युक्ते महति स्यन्दने स्थितौ । प्रदध्मतु: शड्खवरौ हेमरत्नपरिष्कृती,तत्पश्चात् श्वेत घोड़ोंसे जुते हुए विशाल रथपर बैठे भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन अपने सुवर्णभूषित श्रेष्ठ शंखोंको बजाने लगे
tataḥ śvetair hayair yukte mahati syandane sthitau | pradadhmatuḥ śaṅkhavarau hemaratnapariṣkṛtī ||
ત્યારબાદ શ્વેત ઘોડાઓથી જોડાયેલા તે મહાન રથ પર સ્થિત શ્રીકૃષ્ણ અને અર્જુને સુવર્ણ-રત્નોથી અલંકૃત પોતાના શ્રેષ્ઠ શંખો ફૂંકીને વગાડ્યા।
