करिष्यामि हि ते काम॑ भागिनेय यथेप्सितम् । ब्रवीम्यत: क्लीबवत् त्वां युद्धादन्यत् किमिच्छसि
kariṣyāmi hi te kāmaṁ bhāgineya yathepsitam | bravīmy ataḥ klībavat tvāṁ yuddhād anyat kim icchasi ||
શલ્ય બોલ્યો—ભાણેજ, તું જેમ ઇચ્છે તેમ હું તારી ઇચ્છા નિશ્ચયે પૂર્ણ કરીશ. છતાં હું તને કાયરને કહું તેમ કહી રહ્યો છું—યુદ્ધ-સહાય સિવાય તું બીજું શું ઇચ્છે છે? કહો; તારી કામના પૂર્ણ થશે.
