नाप () आजआसर- 'श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता”' “आनन्दचिद्धन' षडैश्वर्यपू्ण चराचरवन्दित परमपुरुषोत्तम
ṣaṭśatāni sarviṁśāni ślokānāṁ prāha keśavaḥ | arjunaḥ saptapañcāśat saptāṣaṣṭiṁ tu sañjayaḥ ||
સંજય બોલ્યો— કેશવ (શ્રીકૃષ્ણ) એ છસો વીસ શ્લોક કહ્યા; અર્જુને સત્તાવન; અને મેં, સંજયે, સડસઠ શ્લોક કહ્યા।
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores the framed transmission and authority of the Bhagavad Gītā by explicitly tallying how much each speaker contributes, highlighting Kṛṣṇa as the principal teacher while preserving the integrity of the dialogue tradition.
Sañjaya, reporting the battlefield dialogue to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, concludes with a formal accounting of the verses spoken by Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna, and himself—serving as a closing colophon-like summary of the discourse.
