तमुवाच तत:ः पादौ कराभ्यां पीड्य पाण्डव: । भीष्मं शान्तनवं राजा युद्धाय समुपस्थितम्‌

tam uvāca tataḥ pādau karābhyāṃ pīḍya pāṇḍavaḥ | bhīṣmaṃ śāntanavaṃ rājā yuddhāya samupasthitam ||

સંજય બોલ્યો—ત્યાં જઈ પાંડવ રાજા યુધિષ્ઠિરે બંને હાથોથી પિતામહના ચરણ દબાવી પ્રણામ કર્યો અને યુદ્ધ માટે ઉપસ્થિત શાંતનુનંદન ભીષ્મને આ રીતે કહ્યું।
