Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
(अवसद् धार्तराष्ट्रस्य कुत्सयन् कर्म दुष्कृतम् सेनामध्ये हि तैः साक॑ युद्धाय कृतनिश्चय: ।।
sañjaya uvāca | avasad dhārtarāṣṭrasya kutsayan karma duṣkṛtam senāmadhye hi taiḥ sākaṃ yuddhāya kṛtaniścayaḥ || tato yudhiṣṭhiro rājā samprahṛṣṭaḥ sahānujaḥ | jagrāha kavacaṃ bhūyo dīptimat kanakojjvalam ||
ધૃતરાષ્ટ્રપુત્રના પાપકર્મની નિંદા કરતો, પાંડવો સાથે યુદ્ધ કરવાનો નિશ્ચય કરીને તે તેમની જ સેનામધ્યે રહી ગયો. ત્યારબાદ રાજા યુધિષ્ઠિર ભાઈઓ સહિત અત્યંત પ્રસન્ન થઈ, સોનાની ઝળહળાટથી દીપ્તિમાન કવચ ફરી ધારણ કરવા લાગ્યો.
