अफलाकाडुक्षिभियज्ञो 3 विधिदृष्टो य इज्यते । यष्टव्यमेवेति मन: समाधाय स सात््विक:३
aphalākāṅkṣibhir yajño vidhidṛṣṭo ya ijyate | yaṣṭavyam eveti manaḥ samādhāya sa sāttvikaḥ ||
ફળની ઇચ્છા ન રાખનારાઓ દ્વારા, શાસ્ત્રવિધિ મુજબ, ‘આ કરવું જ જોઈએ’ એમ મનને સ્થિર કરીને જે યજ્ઞ કરવામાં આવે છે—તે સાત્ત્વિક છે.
