अप कि मर वि का कमान | अनेकदिव्याभरणं धम्,अनेक मुख और नेत्रोंसे युक्त, अनेक अद्भुत दर्शनोंवाले,5 बहुत-से दिव्य भूषणोंसे युक्त” और बहुत-से दिव्य शस्त्रोंको हाथोंमें उठाये हुए,*९ दिव्य माला और वस्त्रोंको धारण किये हुए*5 और दिव्य गन्धका सारे शरीरमें लेप किये हुए, सब प्रकारके आश्वर्योंसे युक्त, सीमारहित और सब ओर मुख किये हुए विराट्स्वरूप परमदेव परमेश्वरको अर्जुनने देखा
sañjaya uvāca | aneka-divyābharaṇaṁ divyānekoddyata-śastram | divya-mālyāmbara-dharaṁ divya-gandhānulepanam || sarvāścarya-mayaṁ devam anantaṁ viśvato-mukham | dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavas tadā viśmarūpo ’rjuno ’bravīt ||
સંજય બોલ્યા—અર્જુને પરમદેવ પરમેશ્વરના વિરાટ (વિશ્વ) સ્વરૂપનું દર્શન કર્યું—અસંખ્ય દિવ્ય આભૂષણોથી શોભિત, હાથોમાં અનેક દિવ્ય શસ્ત્રો ઉંચા ધારણ કરેલા, દિવ્ય માળા અને વસ્ત્રો પહેરેલા, અને સર્વ શરીરે દિવ્ય સુગંધનો લેપ કરેલો। તે સર્વ આશ્ચર્યમય, સીમારહિત અને સર્વ દિશાઓમાં મુખ ધરાવતો હતો। એવા સર્વ-વિસ્મયકારી પ્રભુને જોઈ, યુદ્ધસંકટમાં ધર્મનો ભાર અર્જુન પર વધુ ગાઢ બની ઊતર્યો અને તે અભिभૂત થયો।
