उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
स्त्रिय: काश्रित्प्रजायन्ते चतस्र: पजच कन्यका: । जातमात्राश्च नृत्यन्ति गायन्ति च हसन्ति च,कुछ स्त्रियाँ एक ही साथ चार-चार या पाँच-पाँच कन्याएँ पैदा करती हैं। वे कन्याएँ पैदा होते ही नाचती, गाती तथा हँसती हैं
striyaḥ kāścid prajāyante catasraḥ pañca kanyakāḥ | jātamātrāś ca nṛtyanti gāyanti ca hasanti ca ||
કેટલીક સ્ત્રીઓ એકસાથે ચાર-ચાર કે પાંચ-પાંચ કન્યાઓને જન્મ આપે છે; અને તે કન્યાઓ જન્મતાની સાથે જ નાચે, ગાય અને હસે છે।
