उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
शस्त्राणि चैव राजेन्द्र प्रज्वलन्तीव सम्प्रति । सप्तर्षीणामुदाराणां समवच्छाद्यते प्रभा,राजेन्द्र! सभी शस्त्र इस समय जलते-से प्रतीत होते हैं। उदार सप्तर्षियोंकी प्रभा फीकी पड़ती जाती है
śastrāṇi caiva rājendra prajvalantīva samprati | saptarṣīṇām udārāṇāṁ samavacchādyate prabhā ||
વ્યાસે કહ્યું—રાજેન્દ્ર! અત્યારે સર્વ શસ્ત્રો જાણે પ્રજ્વલિત હોય તેમ દેખાય છે. ઉદાર સપ્તર્ષિઓની પ્રભા ઢંકાઈ રહી છે અને ધીમે ધીમે મલિન થતી જાય છે.
