Karma-Yoga, Yajña-Cakra, and the Governance of Desire (कर्मयोग–यज्ञचक्र–कामनिग्रह)
यावदेतान् निरीक्षे5हं योद्धुकामानवस्थितान् कैर्मया सह योद्धव्यमस्मिन् रणसमुद्यमे,“और जबतक कि मैं युद्धक्षेत्रमें डटे हुए युद्धके अभिलाषी इन विपक्षी योद्धाओंको भली प्रकार देख लूँ कि इस युद्धरूप व्यापारमें मुझे किन-किनके साथ युद्ध करना योग्य है, तबतक उसे खड़ा रखिये
yāvad etān nirīkṣe ’haṁ yoddhukāmān avasthitān | kair mayā saha yoddhavyam asmin raṇasamudyame ||
“યુદ્ધ કરવા ઇચ્છુક બનીને ઊભેલા આ યોદ્ધાઓને હું સારી રીતે નિહાળી લઉં અને આ રણોદ્યમમાં મને કોના કોના સાથે યુદ્ધ કરવું છે તે જાણી લઉં ત્યાં સુધી રથને અહીં જ રોકી રાખો.”
