स तु गोवासन: शैब्य: सहित: सर्वराजभि: । ययौ मातड्राजेन राजार्हेण पताकिना । पद्मवर्णस्त्वनीकानां सर्वेषामग्रत: स्थित:
sa tu govāsanaḥ śaibyaḥ sahitaḥ sarvarājabhiḥ | yayau mātaḍrājena rājārheṇa patākinā | padmavarṇas tv anīkānāṃ sarveṣām agrataḥ sthitaḥ ||
ગોચર્મવસ્ત્ર ધારણ કરનાર શૈબ્ય સર્વ રાજાઓ સાથે આગળ વધ્યો; રાજોચિત સન્માનને યોગ્ય ધ્વજધારી માતડ્રાજ પણ તેની સાથે હતો. પદ્મવર્ણ તેજથી તે સર્વ વ્યૂહોના અગ્રભાગે સ્થિત રહ્યો.
