अगोपमिव चोद श्रान्तं गोकुलं तद् बल॑ मम । पौरुष॑ सर्वलोकस्य परं यस्मिन् महाहवे
agopam iva cod śrāntaṁ gokulaṁ tad balaṁ mama | pauruṣaṁ sarvalokasya paraṁ yasmin mahāhave ||
ધૃતરાષ્ટ્ર બોલ્યા— “ત્યાં મારી સેના હાંકી કાઢેલી અને થાકેલી, ગોકુલ જેવી—જાણે ગોપાળ વિના—ગભરાયેલી દેખાતી હતી. છતાં એ મહાયુદ્ધમાં સર્વ લોકમાં પ્રસિદ્ધ માનવ પરાક્રમની પરમ સીમા પ્રગટ થઈ.”
