यावत् कृष्णो महाबाहु: स्वाधीन: कुरुसत्तम | तावत् पार्थेन शूरेण संधिस्ते तात युज्यताम्,“तात! कुरुश्रेष्ठी] जबतक महाबाहु भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण अपने लोगोंके प्रेमके अधीन हैं, तभीतक शूरवीर अर्जुनके साथ तुम्हारी संधि हो जाय तो ठीक है

yāvat kṛṣṇo mahābāhuḥ svādhīnaḥ kurusattama |
tāvat pārthena śūreṇa sandhis te tāta yujyatām ||
કુરુશ્રેષ્ઠ! જ્યાં સુધી મહાબાહુ શ્રીકૃષ્ણ તમારા અનુકૂળ—તમારી સદ્ભાવના હેઠળ—છે, ત્યાં સુધી, તાત, શૂર પાર્થ અર્જુન સાથે તમારી સંધિ થવી જ યોગ્ય છે.
