एवंभूतस्तव पिता शरैविशकलीकृत: । शिताग्रै: फाल्गुनेनाजौ प्राकृशिरा: प्रापतद्‌ रथात्‌

Transliteration

evaṁbhūtas tava pitā śarair viśakalīkṛtaḥ | śitāgraiḥ phālgunenājau prākṛśirāḥ prāpatad rathāt |

Translation

આ રીતે તમારા પિતા બાણોથી વિદિર્ણ થઈ છિન્ન-ભિન્ન થયા. રણભૂમિમાં ફાલ્ગુન (અર્જુન)ના તીક્ષ્ણ અગ્રવાળા બાણોથી આઘાત પામી તેઓ રથ પરથી માથું આગળ કરીને પડી ગયા.
