तैश्व मुक्ताउ्छरान्‌ भीष्मो युधि सत्यपराक्रम:

taiś ca muktoccharān bhīṣmo yudhi satyaparākramaḥ

સંજય બોલ્યો—યુદ્ધમાં સત્યપરાક્રમી ભીષ્મે તેમના છોડેલા બાણોને પોતાના બાણોથી પ્રત્યुत્તર આપ્યો; ક્ષત્રિયધર્મમાં સ્થિર રહી ધૈર્યપૂર્વક મેદાનમાં અડગ રહ્યા.
