Transliteration

ṛte mahendratanayāc chvetāśvāt kṛṣṇasārathēḥ |

Translation

કૃષ્ણસારથી, શ્વેતાશ્વવાહન મહેન્દ્રપુત્ર અર્જુનને છોડીને બીજો કોઈ પાંડવ—મહારથી હોવા છતાં—ભરતકુલના તે મહાબલી વીરને જીતવા કે તેની સામે ઊભા રહેવા ધૈર્ય કરી શક્યો નહીં.
