रथाग्न्यगारशक्षापार्चिरसिशक्तिगदेन्धन: । शरसंघमहाज्वाल: क्षत्रियान्‌ समरेडदहत्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

rathāgnyagāraśaṣkāpārcirasiśaktigadendhanaḥ |

śarasaṅghamahājvālaḥ kṣatriyān samare ’dahat ||

Translation

સમરમાં જાણે પ્રજ્વલિત અગ્નિ ઊઠી અને ક્ષત્રિયોને દહન કરવા લાગી. રથો અગ્નિશાળા સમા, ધનુષ્યો જ્વાળાની જીભ સમા દેખાતા; ખડ્ગ, શક્તિ અને ગદાઓ ઇંધન બન્યા; અને બાણસમૂહ જ તે અગ્નિની મહાજ્વાળા હતો.
