Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)
भीष्मो5पि रथियनां श्रेष्ठ: प्रतिजग्राह तां चमूम् । आपततन्ती महाराज वेलामिव महोदधि:
sañjaya uvāca | bhīṣmo 'pi rathināṃ śreṣṭhaḥ pratijagrāha tāṃ camūm | āpatatantīṃ mahārāja velām iva mahodadhiḥ ||
મહારાજ! રથીઓમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ ભીષ્મે પણ યુદ્ધ માટે પોતાની તરફ ધસી આવતી તે મહાસેનાને એમ જ સામેથી ઝીલી લીધી, જેમ મહાસાગર કિનારાને ઝીલે છે.
