Yuga-Lakṣaṇa and Varṣa-Pramāṇa Inquiry (युगलक्षण–वर्षप्रमाण–प्रश्न)
प्रजास्तत्र विवर्धन्ते वर्षास्विव समुद्रगा: । नद्यः पुण्यजलास्तत्र गड़ा च बहुधा गता
prajās tatra vivardhante varṣāsv iva samudragāḥ | nadyaḥ puṇyajalās tatra gaṅgā ca bahudhā gatā ||
સંજય બોલ્યા—જેમ વર્ષાઋતુમાં સમુદ્રગામી નદીઓ વધે છે, તેમ ત્યાંની પ્રજા સતત સમૃદ્ધિ અને વૃદ્ધિ પામે છે. તે દ્વીપમાં પવિત્ર જળવાળી અનેક નદીઓ વહે છે, અને ગંગા પણ ત્યાં અનેક ધારાઓમાં વિભક્ત થઈ વહે છે.
