Daśame’hani Bhīṣma-yuddham — Śikhaṇḍī-rakṣaṇa, Arjuna-prabhāva, Duryodhana-āśraya-vākyam
मेघजालस्य महतो यथा मध्यगतो रवि: । उस गजसेनाके बीचमें पड़े हुए पाण्डुनन्दन भीमसेन महान् मेघसमूहके मध्यमें स्थित हुए सूर्यके समान प्रकाशित होने लगे
meghajālasya mahato yathā madhyagato raviḥ | gajasenāyā madhye patitaḥ pāṇḍunandano bhīmaseno mahān meghasamūhasya madhye sthita iva sūryaḥ samprakāśata |
સંજય બોલ્યા—જેમ વિશાળ મેઘસમૂહના મધ્યમાં રહેલો સૂર્ય પ્રકાશે છે, તેમ ગજસેનાના મધ્યમાં પડી ગયેલા પાંડુનંદન ભીમસેન પણ સૂર્ય સમાન તેજસ્વી થઈ ઝળહળવા લાગ્યા.
