तमापततन्तं वेगेन शक्राशनिसमझ्युतिम्‌ । द्विधा चिच्छेद संक्रुद्धो द्रोणि: परमकोपन:

Transliteration

tam āpatatantaṁ vegena śakrāśani-samadyutim | dvidhā ciccheda saṁkruddho droṇiḥ paramakopanaḥ ||

Translation

ઇન્દ્રના વજ્ર સમાન તેજસ્વી અને વેગથી આવતો તે બાણ જોઈ, પરમ ક્રોધી દ્રોણિ (અશ્વત્થામા)એ ક્રોધે તેને બે ભાગે કાપી નાખ્યો।
