सर्वस्त्रविदमेयात्मा वारयामास फाल्गुनि: । उस राक्षसने और भी बहुत-सी जिन-जिन मायाओंका प्रयोग किया, उन सबको सम्पूर्ण अस्त्रोंके ज्ञाता अनन्त आत्मबलसे सम्पन्न अभिमन्युने नष्ट कर दिया
sañjaya uvāca | sarvāstravid ameyātmā vārayāmāsa phālguniḥ |
સંજય બોલ્યા—સમસ્ત અસ્ત્રોમાં નિષ્ણાત અને અપાર આત્મબળ ધરાવતો અભિમન્યુ તે માયાવી આક્રમણોને અટકાવી નિષ્ફળ કરતો રહ્યો. તે રાક્ષસે વધુ જે-જે અનેક માયાઓનો પ્રયોગ કર્યો, તે બધાને સંપૂર્ણ અસ્ત્રજ્ઞાન અને અક્ષય આંતરિક બળથી સંપન્ન અભિમન્યુએ મૂળથી નષ્ટ કરી નાખ્યા.
