अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship

Book 14, Chapter 89

श्वशुरात्‌ प्रीतिदायं त॑ं प्राप्प सा प्रीतमानसा । चकार पुण्यकं तेन सुमहत्‌ संघश: पृथा

śvaśurāt prītidāyaṃ taṃ prāpya sā prītamānasā | cakāra puṇyakaṃ tena sumahat saṅghaśaḥ pṛthā ||

શ્વશુર તરફથી પ્રેમપૂર્વક મળેલ તે ધન પ્રાપ્ત કરીને કુન્તી (પૃથા) અંતરમાં અત્યંત પ્રસન્ન થઈ. તે ધન દ્વારા તેણે સમૂહરૂપે બહુ મોટા પુણ્યકાર્યો કરાવ્યાં.
