Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
(दाक्षिणात्य अधिक पाठका १ श्लोक मिलाकर कुल ३३ श्लोक हैं) है ० बक। हक २ >> अष्टसप्ततितमो< ध्याय: अर्जुनका सैन्धवोंके साथ युद्ध और दुःशलाके अनुरोधसे उसकी समाप्ति वैशम्पायन उवाच ततो गाण्डीवभृच्छूरो युद्धाय समुपस्थित: । विबभौ युधि दुर्धर्षो हिमवानचलो यथा
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | tato gāṇḍīvabhṛcchūro yuddhāya samupasthitaḥ | vibhau yudhi durdharṣo himavānacalo yathā ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા— ત્યારબાદ ગાંડીવધારી શૂર અર્જુન યુદ્ધ માટે ઉપસ્થિત થયો। રણમાં તે શત્રુઓ માટે દુર્ધર્ષ હતો અને હિમવાન પર્વતની જેમ અચલ રહી તેજસ્વી દેખાયો।
