उपयोक्तुं तदिच्छामि वाजिमेथे महाक्रतौ । “भगवन्! आपकी कृपासे जो वह रत्न लाया गया है, उसका अश्वमेध नामक महायज्ञमें मैं उपयोग करना चाहता हूँ
upayoktuṃ tad icchāmi vājimethe mahākratau |
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—“ભગવन्! તમારી અનુમતિથી હું તે રત્નનો ઉપયોગ અશ્વમેધ નામક મહાક્રતુમાં કરવા ઇચ્છું છું. તમારી કૃપાથી જે રત્ન લાવવામાં આવ્યું છે, તેને હું મહાયજ્ઞમાં ધર્માર્થ અર્પિત કરવા માગું છું.”
