अलंचक्ुश्व माल्यौघधै: पुरुषा नागसाह्दयम्‌ । पताकाभिर्विचित्राभिथर्थ्वजैश्न विविधैरपि

Transliteration

alaṃcakruś ca mālyaughaiḥ puruṣā nāgasāhvayam | patākābhir vicitrābhir atha dhvajaiś ca vividhair api ||

Translation

વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—નગરવાસીઓએ પુષ્પમાળાઓના ઢગલા, વંદનવાર, નાનાવિધ ધ્વજો તથા વિચિત્ર પતાકાઓથી નાગસાહ્વય (હસ્તિનાપુર) નગરને સુશોભિત કર્યું।
