उत्तडुक उवाच गुर्वर्थ क॑ प्रयच्छामि ब्रूहि त्वं द्विजसत्तम । तमुपाहत्य गच्छेयमनुज्ञातस्त्वया विभो
Uttaṅka uvāca: gurvarthaṃ kiṃ prayacchāmi? brūhi tvaṃ dvijasattama. tam upāhṛtya gaccheyam anujñātas tvayā vibho.
ઉત્તંકે કહ્યું—હે દ્વિજશ્રેષ્ઠ, ગુરુદક્ષિણા રૂપે હું તમને શું અર્પણ કરું? તે લાવી તમને સમર્પિત કરીને, તમારી આજ્ઞા મેળવી, હે મહાનુભાવ, હું ઘેર જઈ શકું?
