स तथा समयं कृत्वा तेन रूपेण वासव: । उपस्थितस्त्वया चापि प्रत्याख्यातो5मृतं ददत्,“इस तरहकी शर्त करके साक्षात् इन्द्र चाण्डालके रूपमें यहाँ उपस्थित हुए थे और आपको अमृत दे रहे थे; परंतु आपने उन्हें ठुकरा दिया
sa tathā samayaṃ kṛtvā tena rūpeṇa vāsavaḥ | upasthitas tvayā cāpi pratyākhyāto 'mṛtaṃ dadat ||
“આવી શરત કરીને વાસવ (ઇન્દ્ર) એ જ રૂપમાં અહીં આવ્યા. તેઓ તમને અમૃત આપી રહ્યા હતા, છતાં તમે તેમને નકારી કાઢ્યા.”
