Adhyātma-Upadeśa
यावद् रथपथस्तावदू रथेन स तु गच्छति । क्षीणे रथपदे विद्वान् रथमुत्सूज्य गच्छति
yāvad rathapathas tāvadū rathena sa tu gacchati | kṣīṇe rathapade vidvān ratham utsṛjya gacchati |
વાયુએ કહ્યું—જ્યાં સુધી રથપથ છે ત્યાં સુધી તે રથથી જ જાય છે. રથપથ ક્ષીણ થઈ જાય ત્યારે વિદ્વાન રથ છોડીને આગળ વધે છે. એ જ રીતે મૂર્ખ એક જ ઉપાયને ચોંટીને રહે છે અને ભૂમિ બદલાય ત્યારે કષ્ટ પામે છે; પરંતુ ધીર પુરુષ માર્ગની મર્યાદા જાણી યોગ્ય રીતે ઉપાય બદલે છે.
