Brahmopadeśa on Saṃnyāsa, Tapas, and Jñāna (ब्रह्मोपदेशः—संन्यासतपोज्ञानविमर्शः)
हित्वा गुणमयं सर्व कर्म जन्तु: शुभाशुभम् | उभे सत्यानृते हित्वा मुच्यते नात्र संशय:
hitvā guṇamayaṃ sarva karma jantuḥ śubhāśubham | ubhe satyānṛte hitvā mucyate nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
વાયુ બોલ્યા—ગુણમય સર્વ કર્મો—શુભ હોય કે અશુભ—ત્યજીને, અને સત્ય તથા અસત્ય—આ બન્નેને પણ આસક્તિના વિષયરૂપે પરિત્યજીને સંન્યાસી મુક્ત થાય છે; તેમાં સંશય નથી।
