Ethics of Non-attachment
य एवं वृत्तसम्पन्न: स मुनि: श्रेष्ठ उच्यते । जिस कामके करनेसे समाजके दूसरे लोग अनादर करें
ya evaṁ vṛttasampannaḥ sa muniḥ śreṣṭha ucyate |
વાયુએ કહ્યું—જે આ રીતે નિયમિત વર્તનથી સંપન્ન છે, તે જ શ્રેષ્ઠ મુનિ કહેવાય છે. જે કાર્ય કરવાથી સમાજના બીજા લોકો અનાદર કરે, તે પણ તે શાંત રહી સદા ધર્માનુસાર કરતો રહે; પરંતુ સત્પુરુષોના ધર્મની ક્યારેય નિંદા ન કરે. આવા વર્તનથી જે સંપન્ન છે, તે જ ખરેખર શ્રેષ્ઠ મુનિ છે.
