न पाणिपादचपलो न नेत्रचपलो मुनि: । न च वागड्भचपल इति शिष्टस्य गोचर:
Translation
મનનશીલ ગૃહસ્થે હાથ-પગ, નેત્ર, વાણી અને શરીરની ચપળતા ત્યજી દેવી—અર્થાત્ એના દ્વારા કોઈ અનુચિત કર્મ થવા ન દેવું. આ જ શિષ્ટ પુરુષોનું વર્તન કહેવાય છે.
