brāhmaṇy uvāca | nedam alpātmanā śakyaṁ vedituṁ nākṛtātmanā | bahu cālpaṁ ca saṁkṣiptaṁ viplutaṁ ca mataṁ mama ||
બ્રાહ્મણી બોલી—નાથ! અલ્પ આંતરિક બળવાળા અને અસંયત અંતઃકરણવાળા માટે આ તત્ત્વ યથાર્થ રીતે જાણવું શક્ય નથી. તમે જે મહાન જ્ઞાન સંક્ષેપમાં કહ્યું, તે મને ક્યારેક ઘણું તો ક્યારેક થોડું લાગે છે; મારી સમજ વિખેરાઈ ગઈ છે અને સ્થિર થતી નથી.
