Arjuna’s request to Krishna and the opening of the Kāśyapa–Brāhmaṇa mokṣa discourse (Āśvamedhika-parva 16)
मम कौतूहल त्वस्ति तेष्वर्थेषु पुनः पुन: । भवांस्तु द्वारकां गन््ता नचिरादिव माधव,“माधव! उन विषयोंको सुननेके लिये मेरे मनमें बारंबार उत्कण्ठा होती है। इधर आप जल्दी ही द्वारका जानेवाले हैं; अतः पुनः वह सब विषय मुझे सुना दीजिये”
mama kautūhalaṁ tv asti teṣv artheṣu punaḥ punaḥ | bhavāṁs tu dvārakāṁ gantā nacirād iva mādhava ||
માધવ! તે વિષયો સાંભળવા માટે મારા મનમાં વારંવાર કૌતૂહલ ઊઠે છે. અને તમે તો ટૂંક સમયમાં દ્વારકા જવાના છો; તેથી કૃપા કરીને તે બધું મને ફરીથી સંભળાવો.
